Re:Drink is the decentralised beverage infrastructure of tomorrow: Enabling the consumption of sustainable and personalised beverages created at the point of use. Both founders did not study in Munich, which made it impossible for them to penetrate the TUM ecosystem. Thanks to MGIH, Adrian and Eberhard received an introduction to TUM ForTe, which made it possible for the team to apply for and receive the EXIST Gründerstipendium, which came with TUM incubator offices and the TUM Venture Labs membership. In addition to the introduction to the local university ecosystem, MGIH provided insightful workshops, pitchtraining, and made further impactful introductions. Re:Drink is currently working on its prototype - it is expected to be released at the end of 2023. More to come soon

SUMM is the "DeepL" for Easy Language: an AI-based tool that automatically makes any text accessible and understandable. Because more than 10 million people in Germany are excluded from important information by our complicated everyday language, for example because they have learning difficulties and educational disadvantages or speak German as a foreign language. The MGI was and is a super start-up aid to build a real company from an idea and technological knowledge. In the meantime, there are 10 of us in the team and we work together with well-known customers such as Deutsche Bahn or the city of Hamburg. To successfully navigate this path, we worked with coaches, mentor:in and our startup advisor to sharpen our business case, learned how to pitch our solution succinctly, and received various intros to valuable contacts in the Munich startup ecosystem (and beyond). Without this valuable support, we wouldn't be where we are today!

The Accelerator (MGI Hub) has taken us on a fascinating journey over the past few months, during which we have gained new perspectives and comprehensively re-marketed our technology offering. By attending industry-relevant meetings and events, we have been able to learn extensively about the opportunities and potential of our product and have adjusted our business strategy accordingly. We are currently in the process of establishing a new WeconnectAI entity in Canada in collaboration with a renowned Canadian project developer. Through extensive networking activities, we were able to find a new experienced founder with whom we will jointly build another pure SaaS company.
