AI.BAY2023- First international AI conference in Bavaria

The ai.bay2023 found an overwhelmingly enthusiastic reaction in science, business, and politics with a total of over 2 000 participants in the Deutsches Museum or through live broadcast. The first Bavarian AI conference shed a lot of light on Bavarian-based artificial intelligence research and applications. Experts from all around Bavaria and the world had the chance to show themselves, network, and exchange ideas for the first time.

The opportunity was taken advantage of by the Bavarian Prime Minister Dr. Markus Söder, Digital Minister Judith Gerlach, Science Minister Markus Blume, and Economics Minister Hubert Aiwanger to welcome the renowned AI experts to Bavaria and engage in conversation with them about the state of AI in Bavaria.

The world-class scientific speaker lineup was introduced by Marc Raibert, the director of Boston Dynamics AI Institute and well-known for creating the first hopping robot, the spot. Afterwards, worldwide expert panels covered hot-button subjects like ChatGPT or the application of AI in medicine.
