
Robotic arms that can move filled jars as rapidly and safely as a person have been developed by researchers at the Technical Universität of Munich's (TUM) Munich Institute of Robotics and Machine Intelligence (MIRMI). Rafael I. Cabral Muchacho's team employs a simulated pendulum to drastically reduce the amount of computer resources needed for this activity.
